1. Always warm your hands first by rubbing them together and then transfere the warmth to the stone by holding it for a short while.
2. Apply our special Artezama guasha facial oil on to clean skin before starting your practice so that the stone can glide over your skin without tugging or pulling
3. Always start by activating the lymphatic points around the collarbone, neck and armpits with a gentle massage using your hands or the gua sha tool. Dont forget to stimulate ears and neck muscles to help move stagnation.
4. Place the gua sha in an 15 degree angle or less with your skin, except when losening the neck muscles.
5. Sostain your skin in the center of your face with light pressure using your not dominant hand and with the other slide the tool towards the lymphatic drainage points going outwards towards the hairline. Gently apply feather light pressure with the tool and glide the guasha like that in each section for 5-10 strokes. Repeat on both sides, daily if possible!
